The University of Córdoba has acquired a SwisensPoleno Jupiter device to increase its observation capabilities of the pollen spectrum and other aerosols in the region, becoming the first organization in the Mediterranean region to have high-end equipment for this purpose. The news item reads, “With the aim of increasing its capabilities for observing and recording bioaerosols, the University of Córdoba has acquired a SwisensPoleno Jupiter unit, which incorporates the fluorescence stage as an improvement over the unit it had since summer 2022. The University of Córdoba and its Faculty of Botany are consolidating their leadership in this area, becoming a world reference and positioning themselves at the forefront of bioaerosol observation.
